Terrence Laron Burke is an award-winning cinematographer and talented collaborator who excels at visual storytelling.

Burke has lensed numerous projects.   Burke is currently shooting his 3rd season of the hit CBS tv showTHE EQUALIZER.  Before shooting that show Terrence, shot THE REDEMPTION IN CHERRY SPRINGS tv movie for the HALMMARK MOVIES, & MYSTERIES CHANNEL. As well as the seventh and eight seasons of House of Payne for CBS. Terrence, was the Director of Photigraphy for the first two seasons of these BET tv shows. Assisted Living, Ruthless, Bruh, The Oval, and Sistas. He also shot the seventh and eighth seasons of The Have and the Have Nots. As well as the fifth season of If Loving You Is Wrong for OWN. Terrence, also shot the first two seasons of the NICKELODEON tv show YOUNG DYLAN.

His feature work includes Netflix thriller A Fall From Grace; political thriller Price for Freedom and the drama Girl on the Ledge. His work on the short film Red Rider earned him a 2013 Los Angles Independent Film Festival Award for Best Cinematography.

Born and raised in the Bronx, Burke’s parents often took him to the drive-in, sparking his passion for moving images. After earning his B.A. in Media Communications and Technology from East Stroudsburg University, he quickly progressed from working as an electrician to working as a grip on sets. He then attended AFI, The American Film Institute’s prestigious cinematography program in Los Angeles. Upon graduating, Terrence returned to New York to work full time as a Director of Photography. Burke, eventually joined the International Cinematographers Guild as Director of Photography in 2016. His films have been named official selections at over 47 festivals in 28 different countries.
